Autumn's Mystery

Today's conversation with Holy Spirit...

I collected these Autumnal sprigs on a walk this morning. In awe as Holy Spirit spoke to me on the difference between fragments and remnants.

As beautiful and colorful as these are, they are in fact, mere fragments of a season’s end. I can choose to hold on but they will dissipate. A remnant however, is just that. Something that remains. Be wise with what you choose to hold on to as the Lord moves you into a new season. Be willing to surrender and let go so that you will not be left barren, without remnant to add to the new.

No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing:
Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead,
I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize
for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.
Philippians 3:13–14
